João Nemi (Preferred Gender Pronoun; PGP: he/him/his) has a Ph.D. in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literatures and Languages from the Graduate Center, CUNY. He teaches Portuguese language, and courses on Brazilian and Lusophone culture.
