Tips

  1. Do not read class rosters aloud (some students’ social names do not match their given name).
  2. Do not make assumptions of gender identities
  3. Do not make assumptions of sexual orientation
  4. Consider use of a diversity of materials (e.g. textbooks, handouts, etc.)
  5. Consider pronoun diversity
